Street lights exploit the pavement,
Heels click and tap,
He sways in the light of the street,
This night stands still as though time has forgotten,
Or time simply doesn't want to remember,
Cigarette to Hand as Cock is to Mouth,
His face glows orange with flame,
His face pretty with paint,
Smeared here and there,
Vehicle and Cubical,
A kiss of the cigarette,
The beam of headlamps,
The hum of an engine,
The question of who,
A reflections shows the truth,
Tired eyes and tears disappear,
Gaze upon IT'S smile and the familiar,
Last kiss of the cigarette,
Leaving the cold for IT'S warmth,
Smeared red with lips,
The heat of the cigarette,
The heat of IT'S cheek.
The radio crackles a song so dear,
The pair turn and smile,
IT'S eyes swift to leer,
At the warming knee,
Cold at first touch,
Squeezing lust not love,
Smile back and take the hand,
A hand of work, crafting and build,
A hand so familiar in the night cold.
Streets paved in gold,
From the lights that hang,
A screech of help echos near,
The cold air meeting warmth,
An exit,
An escape,
One last turn,
Peer into the eyes of the Devil's work,
Eyes filled green with sickness, no regrets or fear.
One last kiss,
Forever laying in your past,
Passing from IT'S warmth to another.
The past unforgotten and always there,
A motherly embrace welcomes so near,
A place always remembered,
The nightmares upstairs,
Dinner upon the table,
Steam rising to the air,
Sit and peer,
Into the eyes of the devil,
Who smiles so near,
Eyes filled green with sickness, no regret or fear.

A Rain Of Kings - Feeding The Vultures
Little light reflects from the walls,
Hands bound,
Screams come from below,
Whimpers drowned by laughter above,
Squinting to see a little light,
Twinkling and flickering,
Like a star at night,
Only one star shines here,
Larger and Larger,
Eyes eventually peer,
Numerous men and women stand,
Ropes tight around their necks,
Upon podiums dressed in gold,
Instruments stuck within starved necks,
Leeching minerals needed by kings,
Six on either side but one stands free,
Edging closer,
The Fates have decided for me.

We All Follow.
Words are an order of letters,
Sentences are a flow of words,
Actions are a reflection of personality,
Personality is built by friends,
Family are precautions of the future,
The future is a passage of the past.
